Shark Tank India Season 3: Azhar Iqubal entrepreneurial Journey

​Shark Tank India Season 3 welcomes new judges to the panel of investors. Among them is Azhar Iqubal, the co-founder and CEO of Inshorts, the innovative news app that delivers concise summaries of the latest stories. One of the newest judges on Shark Tank India,  who will be evaluating and investing in the innovative ideas of aspiring entrepreneurs.

​• Azhar Iqubal is a 31-year-old entrepreneur who dropped out of IIT Delhi in 2012 to pursue his passion for creating a platform that delivers concise summaries of the latest news, videos, infographics, and blogs. Along with his co-founders, Deepit Purkayastha and Anunay Arunav, he launched Inshorts as a Facebook page in 2013.  Soon, the page gained traction and they decided to launch a mobile app in 2013.

​• Inshorts has raised a total of $119 million over six rounds from eight investors. The most recent funding round was in July 2021, when Inshorts raised $60 million from Vy Capital and existing investors. Some of the prominent investors in Inshorts include Tiger Global, SIG, A91 Partners, and Times Internet. Since then, Inshorts has grown exponentially, reaching over 10 million active users. In 2021, Inshorts achieved a valuation of ₹3,700 crs, making it one of the most successful startups in India. Inshorts also expanded its portfolio by launching Public, a location-based social network app that connects local communities and enables hyperlocal content creation and consumption.

​and Reslink.  On Shark Tank India Season 3, he has shown interest in several products and services, such as a spatial AI drone, a cricket bat made of willow and bamboo, and a smart water purifier

• ​Azhar’s "Net worth is estimated to be around ₹500 crs", as per Business Patrika. He has built a formidable empire with his hard work, dedication, and focus. He is a role model for the young and aspiring entrepreneurs of India, who want to make a difference in the world with their ideas.
