Chennai Super Kings Cricket Limited released its financials for FY23. The revenue of the company has decreased by 7% over FY22. Profit After Tax has decreased by 56%. EPS of the company has also decreased from ₹1.02 in FY22 to ₹0.42 in FY23, representing a negative growth of 59%. During the financial year, the Company has commenced its operations and started 2 academies one based in Salem and another based in Chennai. The Company made operating loss of ₹ 6.45 Crore mainly due to one time costs on account of setting up the academies. The company also incurred a loss of ₹33.02 Crore in its wholly-owned subsidiary, named as Joburg Super Kings (PTY) Ltd. in FY23.
