Amol Minechem Limited, the largest producer of Perlite-based products in India, continues to maintain a strong leadership position in both domestic and international markets. In FY24, the company achieved sales and operating income of ₹6,810.85 lakhs, up from ₹5,966.02 lakhs last year. Earnings before interest, depreciation, and tax (EBIDTA) saw a significant jump to ₹1,845.50 lakhs from ₹1,194.99 lakhs, indicating improved operational efficiency. Despite a slight dip in net profit to ₹1,209.85 lakhs compared to ₹1,218.64 lakhs last year, the company benefited from reduced finance and raw material costs, which improved profit margins. Demand for thermal insulation products has increased post-COVID-19, boosting sales growth. Amol Minechem continues to explore new markets and applications while keeping costs under control, though rising costs present a future challenge. Despite geopolitical uncertainties, the outlook for the Perlite business remains stable, with expectations for more insulation orders and continued market acceptance.
