Birth & Early Life
Yashish Dahiya obtained a B.Tech. in Textile Technology from IIT Delhi in 1994, followed by a PG Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad in 1996, and an MBA from INSEAD in 2001.
Currently serving as the Group CEO & Co-Founder of Policybazaar.com, Dahiya has led the company's growth over 12 years, making it a significant influencer in insurance-related consumer decisions. With over 100 million annual visitors, Policybazaar is India's largest digital insurance distributor.
Recognized for his transformative contributions, Dahiya was honored with the EY Entrepreneur of The Year (EOY) 2019 award in the Financial Services category, lauded for his innovative approach and forward-thinking vision.
Beyond business, Dahiya is an accomplished sportsperson, holding titles such as the Indian masters swimming champion and representing India at world masters swimming championships. He boasts impressive timings in Ironman competitions, ranking amongst the top performers in his age group.
Before venturing into entrepreneurship with Policybazaar, Dahiya served as the Managing Director of ebookers.com, a prominent pan-European online travel distributor. Additionally, he gained experience as a strategy consultant at Bain & Co. in London.
