Kartikeya Sharma

• Kartikeya Sharma, born on May 14, 1981, is an Indian politician, entrepreneur, and media baron.
• He is currently a Member of the Rajya Sabha, representing Haryana, having won a closely contested election against Congress leader Ajay Maken on June 10, 2022.
  Sharma is the founder of ITV Media Network, which operates multiple news channels in various languages and print newspapers such as the Sunday Guardian, Daily Guardian, and Aaj Samaj.
• He is the son of politician Venod Sharma and Shakti Rani Sharma and is married to author and professor Aishwarya Sharma.
• According to his affidavit, Sharma declares ownership of assets exceeding Rs 387 crore.
• Under India News, Sharma launched several regional TV channels covering different states.
  He acquired the English language news channel NewsX and ventured into print media with The Sunday Guardian and Aaj Samaj.
