• Gaurav Kumar has spent the last two decades both building and dismantling security systems, starting from his teenage years.
  
  
• Gaurav Kumar fascination with electronic security began when he accidentally developed a cordless phone sniffer using a standard FM radio circuit.
  
  
• Early in his career, he contributed to building wireless intrusion detection systems at Honeywell.
  
  
• Later, at Microsoft, he analyzed source code to identify vulnerabilities.
  
  
• In late 2015, he co-founded RedLock, a cloud security startup, where he also led a Cloud Security Intelligence team that conducted pioneering security research.
  
  
• Following the acquisition of RedLock, he joined Palo Alto Networks as Chief Architect for Public Cloud Security.
