Ajay Bijli

• Ajay was born and raised in Delhi, India, to Late Krishan Mohan Bijli, who worked in the family's road freight business, Amritsar Transport Co., established by Ajay's grandfather in 1939.
• After relocating to Delhi, Ajay attended Modern School for his education, later completing his BCom from Hindu College of University of Delhi.
• Following his graduation, Ajay joined his family's transportation business and also became involved in his father's Priya Theater in Delhi.
• In 1992, Ajay's father Krishan Mohan Bijli passed away, and in 1994, a major fire erupted in the warehouse of their transportation business. On his mother's advice, Ajay compensated all those affected by the fire.
• In 1995, Ajay was introduced by a Hollywood producer to an Australian production house named "Village Roadshow," which eventually led to the establishment of PVR-Priya Village Roadshow in India.
• Ajay, son of Late Krishan Mohan Bijli and Sandhuro Mohan Bijli, has a younger brother named Sanjeev Bijli, who is his business partner in PVR Cinemas. He married his high school sweetheart, Selena, in 1990, and together they have two daughters and a son.
